Cycling Action Plan, more progress...!

I've spent more time than I should today reading the TFL Cycling Action Plan which is an impressive piece of work.

Why ? It's a long term document, trying to look ahead not just to the next mayoral term but to 2024 and even to 2040 with objectives of cycling rates in mind.

What I also like is how specific it is by listing out the individual junctions and saying when construction work will begin.

This approach takes leadership since it's easy for anyone to use the document to say x or y hasn't happened yet but I feel it shows how serious and ambitious is the current mayor to make good on his cycling manifesto promises.
