Was delighted to be invited to present at Public Policy Exchange a few days back. Spoke about the distinction between the civil and criminal law and how each impacts on cyclists as well as staying local.
Was questioned , not for the first time, about Presumed Liability in the Q and A, of which more in a future post.
I was able to speak about an even bigger passion of mine which is to reach the depressed and the overweight with free access to bicycles through their GP.
I will be campaigning hard and , I hope, sensitivity on this front during and post Covid since it is directly relevant to Covid; part of the reason for the record UK death toll is our obesity crisis, and cycling is undisputably part of the low impact solution.
