Tonight will be the fourth time I'm joining 1000 or so others in London Fields at 7ish to begin the 120 mile cycle through the night to the beach in Dunwich.

It never loses its appeal . Essex through the night , Suffolk in the dawn ...Last year there were 3 of us , tonight 6 , maybe next year, 12 !

One of the things I love about the DD is there's no bureaucracy, no passwords , no wristbands , there isn't even a map! Just rock up and cycle away. And don't forget your swimming trunks...
